Session

If you are an amateur astronomer or want to be one and don't know where to begin, this session is going to be the perfect place to get a headstart! With astronomers from Pune and the Trivandrum Planetarium, join a band of space-farers in an exciting odyssey into the night sky and the world of astronomy.

This will essentially be a night-sky observation session with an introduction to basics of amateur astronomy and an insight into a number of things related to it, e.g. identifying major star clusters and constellations, identifying planets, reading star charts, etc. through two wondrous nights!

Paraphernalia

Supporting this endeavour will be an 8" Celestron Telescope, accompanied by as many as 20 small 4" telescopes.
