Workshops & Exhibits True to our aim of providing hands-on engineering experience, as well as interaction with professionals from various scientific and technical fields, Conscientia 2010 will host a number of interesting workshops. These workshops will be an excellent opportunity for participants to get a feel of engineering, technology and scientific method, while being an informative experience worth cherishing. The following workshops and exhibitions have been organised: Rendezvous With Stars Expert astronomers from Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, will conduct a workshop on amateur astronomy along with an exciting Night-Sky Observation Session. Quantum Computing The interesting, new and upcoming field of Quantum Computing has posed challenges for young minds to solve. Three eminent researchers, deep in their exploration, will give you a peak into this field. Powered Glider Workshop For all aeromodelling enthusiasts and newbies, here's a kickstart to your dreams. Design, build and fly your own glider, all in a matter of hours! Autonomous Robotics Workshop Start with robotics in this workshop. In a matter of a few hours you will learn to make your own line followers, wall followers, collision avoiders, etc! Ethical Hacking Workshop Learn to trace emails, create your own Vital Information Under Siege applications (virus... Did you that?!!!) Balsa Glider Workshop Design, build and fly your own glider in just a matter of hours! Apart from these workshops, a scintillating exhibition has been planned. Airshow In a spectacular display of technology taking on nature, RC Aircraft will whiz past you, synchronised in breathtaking choreography! |
