Remote Sensing Lecture An interesting lecture on the field of Remote Sensing will be given by Dr K K Ramachandran from the Center for Earth Science Studies, Akkulam, Thiruvananthapuram. About the Speaker Dr K K Ramachandran is a Scientist at the Geomatics Laboratory. Having completed his post graduation in Marine Geology and Doctoral Studies in Marine Sciences, he went on to specialise in Sedimentology. He is currently working on Remote Sensing/Digital Photogrammetry and Coastal Zone Management/Coastal Regulation. He has undergone training in digital image analysis of satellite remote sensing data at the Regional Remote Sensing Servicing Centre, Bangalore, digital processing of OCM and LISS III/PAN data at Space Application Centre, Ahmedabad and Desktop Mapping with Imagine Orthobase Pro and Stereo Analyst at ERDAS India, Hyderabad. Throughout his career, he has managed 17 projects and published 27 research papers. |
