Event

Light... cannot be captured, cannot be destroyed. But it can be tamed. ImageIn is a competition on designing a lens assembly such that one can get a desired magnification of an object with a good resolution on a screen.

Format
There will be two phases.

Phase 1
An objective type question paper.
Duration: 30 minutes

Phase 2
The teams will have to design a lens assembly with a given set of lenses to get the best resolution with a magnification greater than that specified. The exact problem statement and specifications will be given on the spot.
Duration: 2 hours

• A team may consist of a maximum of 3 members.
• The participants can only bring pen/pencil and scientific calculator at the venue of event.

Eligibility
Open to all college students with valid ID cards.

Judgement and Evaluation

The team getting the best resolution with a specified magnification will be the winner. The decision of the judges will be final and binding under all circumstances.
