Webbed!
PRIZE MONEY:
Prizes worth Rs2500 to be won!
A computer screen stares blankly at you... Armed with only a mouse and a keyboard, you're stuck in a web of seemingly undecodable enigmas, of meaningless questions and unconnected images. One click or the right URL can take you paces forward. But one wrong move and you get trapped further. Will you be the one to break free or shall you be doomed to be WEBBED!
Start!
Keep checking forum for hints.
What you really have to do is enter, and come out alive of, a web of (web)pages. Each web page will be a different level, and will contain clues (both conspicuous and hidden). You may need to click, type, answer, question, download, search etc. to get yourself out of that page. You must do what is required to take you ahead without getting lost or stuck in the web. Good luck!
A set of simple instructions. Read carefully. And do not forget.
- All webs have an intricate maze of threads; some lead outwards, others draw you further inwards. Ours is no different. Watch your step or you might find yourself in a sticky situation.
- In this quest, your best friends will be (not in any particular order), the internet (specially search engines and online encyclopaedias), your brain (with some general knowledge), and lateral thinking.
- Remember. Everything you see on the webpage (or don't see!) could be of help. Look for hints behind the scenes, and do not miss anything that's on the page itself.
For a sneak peak and sample question, visit our blog.
- The event will begin on this website on 2nd February 2010 at 1400 hrs (IST).
- It's mandatory for everyone to register to be able to participate. Once you register, you will receive a login ID and password by mail.
- For queries and clarifications, contact cyberia[at]conscientia[dot]co[dot]in.
