Competitions

This year, at Conscientia, the competitions will bring about an avalanche of new ideas, trigger a marathon of brainstorming and will give these ideas a platform to take shape. Creativity, knowledge and aptitude must blend together to come out on top, and in the process must enrich the participants themselves, as much as ameliorate us, and gain as much exposure as possible.

 Apart from a focus on regular science and engineering topics, ours being a space science and technology institute, Conscientia gives special emphasis to fields that have a bearing in space applications, and offers a unique insight and opportunity to work in this intriguing and upcoming area! The competitions have been categorised as follows:

Aparimit
A section devoted to the field of space science and astronomy, Aparimit will leave you with a sense of awe at just how minuscule we are in the larger scheme of things!

 Mechamorphosis
Mechamorphosis is a celebration of the spirit of mechanical engineering, the consequently acquired knowledge, and the feats achieved from the application of that knowledge.

 Vihang 
From Leonardo da Vinci to the Wright brothers to the Space Age, aerospace engineering has reached a new pinnacle with every triumph. Vihang is an odyssey into these triumphs!

Philosophiae Naturalis
The genesis of all technology is from basic science, the enigma of which would not have been decoded without mathematics. Philosophiae Naturalis is dedicated to these two.

Bot in the Act
Robots have transcended the boundary of mechanisms to become an art about man himself. Bot in the Act will test your robotic skill, creativity and nerves alike.

E/C-Lectic
The world of today is dominated by electronics and computers. So, E/C-Lectic instigates all electronics and programming enthusiasts to match their prowess.

 Ideas Inc.
Competitions that will give you a brush with business and social responsibility, with a focus on management, environmental awareness and sustainable development.

 N-Dimensions
Life cannot be confined to a fixed number of dimensions. Our every new activity is a unique dimension in itself. N-Dimensions offers events that involve many disciplines.

 Cyberia
A host of online events, including a labyrinthine puzzle taking you through a maze of questions, and an online quiz, designed to challenge those with both grit and wit.
